A 2-day, 8 hour/day ONLINE event beginning at 11am ET both days
We are happy to announce our 2nd annual symposium about the attack on food and farmers.
Together with lawyers, farmers, activists, scientists, doctors, and experts from various fields we will lay out the myriad attacks on the traditional production of food and start a serious effort to turn these attacks around.
The event includes 35 speakers and will cover: problems with industrial farming, how
farmland is being taken out of production, forced reductions in livestock so the US has now become a net meat importer, how U.S government regulations have been used in the attack, the transition to “future foods,” geoengineering, and the solutions for how we can fix this together.
You will learn strategies to grow your own food, how to involve and educate children about farming, healing with food and how to protect food sovereignty and food security. The symposium aims to educate and mobilize individuals to combat the agenda that has been attacking our food and agriculture for decades. With comprehensive discussions led by experts from various fields, you will gain plenty of insights and practical solutions.
Join us in this critical fight to safeguard our food and our farmers. Together we can make a difference. Let’s unite to learn more, protect our food sovereignty and ensure a healthier future for all. Please share this widely.
The August 6 Defender explored yet another angle of how the federal government uses a financial program, the Farm Credit System, to put small farmers out of business. Check out, “Stealing Family Farms: Big Ag Gets Billions in Taxpayer-Funded Loans While Small Farms Starve.”
Also be aware that while the federal government is not legally allowed to impose animal and employee testing where there is no reported disease, the federal government has paid the states to do so, instead. Even though no cows or humans have been found with bird flu (H5N1 avian influenza) in all New England, the state of Massachusetts informed every Massachusetts dairy farmer on August 6 that they will have to comply with state-imposed testing for bird flu now. Till next week,
