The draft of the IHR amendments and an accompanying draft Pandemic Agreement are both still under negotiation a month short of the intended vote at the World Health Assembly (WHA) in late May. Together, they reflect a sea change in international public health over the past two decades.

The Brownstone Institute for Social and Economic Research is a nonprofit organization conceived of in May 2021 in support of a society that minimizes the role of violence in public life.
“Voluntary contributions, specified and thematic, make up about 80% of the budget,” denoted former WHO medical officer and scientist Dr. @bell00david.
“And this is important because specified contributions are contributions that are provided for a specific project in a specific place. They are very directive,” he explained.
