This is the archive page for all public published materials from the WHO Working Group for International Health Regulations (WGIHR). This is the group which has been tasked with harmonizing and negotiating the 300+ proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005. The IHR 2005 is an existing international treaty. The 300+ proposed amendments are expected to be voted on by the World Health Assembly of the WHO in May 2024.
They significantly change the scope of the existing IHR 2005 treaty.
