Judith McGeary

In her talk, Judith McGeary, founder of the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, discusses “The Fight to Block Electronic Tracking of Our Animals,” highlighting the risks of government overreach in imposing electronic ear tags for livestock.

McGeary outlines how this mandate is part of a broader push by government, agribusiness and tech companies to implement mass surveillance of livestock (and their owners) while placing unnecessary burdens on small farms, eventually pushing out small ranchers.

McGeary calls for immediate action to oppose this rule and emphasizes the importance of grassroots activism and coalition-building across political differences to protect small farmers, regenerative agriculture, and individual freedom from corporate and governmental control.
