  • โ€˜We Will Not Complyโ€™ with Pandemic Treaty, 26 Republican Governors Tell WHO

    Twenty-six U.S. governors โ€” over half of the nationโ€™s state leaders โ€” have stated publicly that they will not comply with a World Health Organization (WHO)-led global attempt at controlling U.S. Americansโ€™ health.

    In their Aug. 29 statement, the 26 governors โ€” all Republicans โ€” and the Republican Governors Association accused the WHO of โ€œattempting one world control over health policyโ€ by promoting a โ€œpandemic agreementโ€ or โ€œpandemic treaty.โ€

    Key reasons provided by the 22 AGs:

    First Reason:

    “Under proposed IHR amendments and the Pandemic Treaty, however, the WHO’s Director-General would achieve the power to unilaterally declare a “public health emergency of international concern” (PHEIC) in one or more member nations. Such declarations can include perceived or potential emergencies other than pandemics, including climate change, immigration, gun violence, or even “emergencies” involving plants, animals, or ecosystems.”
